Do you have what it takes to navigate the secret corners of Pleasant Valley?
Grab your team of four and get ready for a high-energy journey through our district’s most iconic parks! Whether you're a puzzle master, a fitness enthusiast, or just looking for a morning of laughs with friends, this race is built for every skill level.
The first annual Amazing Race for the Parks is a community event with teams of 4 racing to complete a series of timed mental and physical challenges throughout 5 local parks. Challenge stations throughout the parks will highlight elements of the Foundation's history, mission, and values. Whichever team completes all challenges and crosses the finish line at the last location in the least amount of time will be the winner! Proceeds from event registration and day-of sales will be donated to PVRPD Scholarships, programming, and park beautification projects!
THE MISSION:
Four secret park locations. Four unique challenges. One epic morning. You’ll receive top-secret clues leading you to select Pleasant Valley Parks around Camarillo, where you’ll face "Roadblocks" and "Detours" designed to test your teamwork and wit.
THE GRAND FINALE:
Race back to the last location for the final showdown! After you cross the finish line, celebrate your victory with:

How it Works:
1. Register: Sign up your team of 4 below.
2. Check-In: Arrive at the Community Center at 8:00 AM on race day.
3. Race: Follow your custom color-coded track (Yellow, Green, Blue, or Orange).
4. Celebrate: Enjoy the photo-op, food, and fun at the finish line!
